The problem is... some mates are worth six. Some are barely worth half.
So, for the 40th anniversary of the McNugget, we invented a scientifically questionable scale to help people decide exactly how many nuggets their friends deserved.
It turned into a nationwide debate about friendship, loyalty and fried chicken, giving one of McDonald's oldest menu items a whole new moment in the spotlight.
