Been a while...secret project

Made this for my sister (affectionately known as 'Monkey Girl') for a wedding present. She lives in the US of A and had many wonderfully drunken Halloween trips to NYC so decided to combine her nickname with those hazy memories and make 'Monkey Girl Kong' in her hand is her husband Max (complete in kilt)

I signed up for a woodwork class to make the Empire State building base..I was going to make it out of clay, but having to haul it across the Atlantic needed to save as much weight as I could.
