WORKING GULL

For the past few years I have been writing and creating an animated sitcom called 'Working gull'.

It follows one gull, used to the slow pace seaside life, as he moves to London to pursue a career and get good sushi.

The characters are all birds, some are based on people I have worked with in the past (you know who you are).

Think of it somewhere between Family guy and Bill Oddie's 'Springwatch' but with more alcohol.

There is still scope for background characters to be based on people I meet, so don't be an asshole or you might end up being the flamingo that nobody likes (you know who you are).

I take sketches and then ink them in Photoshop. I animate the scenes using Toon Boom. I began my ad career as an animator and, when I moved into Art Direction and concepting, I was keen to maintain my skills and produce something outside of advertising.

I hope to have the first episode completed by Christmas 2016. So far voice actors have been great at capturing the characters and I can't wait to see the whole thing come together.
