Unfortunately one of my favourite ideas that never went to the final stage (booo!) I was given the challenge 'create an Orange Wednesdays for us' I looked at the way people interact with the pump when filling up.
I thought about the little 'game' everyone plays at the pump – trying to stop the flow of petrol when the the counter is on an exact pound, e.g. £30.00.
I suggested a game mechanism that rewards customers for achieving a round number. Getting it 'on the money' gives you a £1 Amazon voucher, that can be redeemed online. You receive one for every visit that you land on the money.
